Our academic advisors help you navigate your future
With the help of your academic advisor, you can step confidently toward your educational, professional, and personal goals. As you navigate your program of study, including the various placement, prerequisite, and program requirements, your academic advisor will support you. Advisors are available in-person at both the Bethlehem and Pocono campuses, or by email, phone, or video chat.
How do I find my NCC academic advisor?
We assign you an academic advisor when you’re accepted to NCC. Find your advisor’s name and contact information in the “Support Network” section under “Academics” in your Workday account.
For additional assistance, watch this short video demonstrating how to log into Workday and where to find your assigned advisor.
When should I meet with my advisor?
We make NCC advising as accessible as possible to ensure you have the resources and support you need to thrive. You’ll connect with your advisor before you register for classes each semester. Newly admitted students must sign up and attend an orientation session before receiving academic advising.
If students don’t have an assigned advisor or aren’t able to contact their advisor, we also offer drop-in advising in the Student Enrollment Center (Bethlehem campus) and Keystone Hall, room 103 (Pocono campus) during the following times:
- Monday: 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Thursday: 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Friday: 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Alternatively, drop-in advising is also available virtually during the following times:
- Monday: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Tuesday: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Wednesday: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Thursday: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
For drop-in virtual advising, please sign in no later than 1:40 p.m. to ensure availability, and have your camera on and photo ID ready to verify your identity.
