NCC's Culture of Caring

At NCC, we understand it can be difficult to focus on your academic progress while also dealing with personal or financial hardships. If you need assistance accessing resources for: Transportation, financial assistance, housing, food, academic support, childcare, emotional/mental health support, our Spartan Cares program is here to help. Spartan Cares works with students to address these concerns and link students to campus and community-based resources. Our goal is for students to have their basic needs met so they may focus on academic success.

  • Free and Low-Cost Dental Cleanings
    Dental hygiene students at Northampton Community College are welcoming new patients to the Litwak Dental Clinic in the college's Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third Street, Bethlehem, to provide multiple oral assessments, cancer screenings, dental cleanings, radiographs, fluoride treatments, and dental screenings, all under the supervision of licensed hygienists and dentists. The clinic is open Mon./Wed./Fri. from September to mid-December AND Monday - Friday end of January through April. Dental cleanings are free for all NCC credit students. Members of the public can utilize the services for a nominal fee. The appointments are long but will be the most thorough trip to the dental hygienist you have ever encountered! Appointments can be made by phoning the clinic at 610.861.5442.

KEYS

Keystone Education Yields Academic Success is a grant-funded program for students who qualify receive SNAP and TANF benefits. The program provides supports and services to assist students in reaching their educational goals. The services vary by student but may include assistance with transportation, textbooks, and child care so students can successfully reach their academic goals.
