Transferring Into NCC

You can transfer up to 75% of any NCC degree, certificate, or specialized diploma program from coursework completed at a regionally accredited college or university. We also accept credit for most AP and IB exams, as long as you earn the minimum acceptable score. On a case-by-case basis, we also evaluate credits from:
  • Non-regionally accredited schools
  • Certificates
  • Apprenticeships
  • On-the-job training

Transfer Partnerships

We have established competitive transfer partnerships with the PA TRAC program, which allows you to transfer up to 30 general education credits to other participating institutions. If you graduate from NCC with an AA or AS and transfer to East Stroudsburg University (ESU), you are guaranteed admission—and eligible for up to $6,000 in scholarships.

NCC Transfer Advising

NCC has a dedicated transfer advisor to help any student who plans to transfer from NCC to a four-year college or university. Even if you’re still considering whether transferring is the right option for you or are still exploring which schools you might like to attend in the future, you can work with our transfer advisors to make sure you’re taking all the right steps. Plus, we host transfer fairs on campus where you can informally meet college reps to see if those schools are good transfer options for you.
