It is also important for NCC to review your educational history to determine your placement into English and math courses and whether any credits will transfer from previous college-level education. All students must submit official transcripts from any high school(s) or college(s) attended. If you took AP exams, you can request a score report through your College Board account to receive credit for your AP exams. If you earned a GED or state high school equivalency diploma, please submit a copy.
Official transcripts may be sent electronically from the school(s) you attended to transcripts@northampton.edu.
Paper transcripts must be in a sealed envelope from the sending institution to be considered official and sent directly to:

During this virtual session, you’ll learn about the basic processes and technology you need to be successful as a Spartan. We’ll cover important next steps in the enrollment process, like transcripts and placement, completing your FAFSA, academic advising, how to log in to your Workday Student Portal and access your NCC student email, and more.
Orientation sessions are available multiple times each week.
If you are a guest/visiting student, you are not required to attend Orientation Part 1, but we strongly encourage you to complete this step to prepare for success.
If you are a dual enrollment student, you should complete the dual enrollment version of Orientation Part 1, which offers content specifically for dual enrollment students.

Your final step to finish your enrollment is to meet with your academic advisor so you can register for classes.
You will be assigned an academic advisor to help you understand your program requirements, determine your course placements, plan your class schedule, and explore transfer options. Additionally, your advisor can connect you with essential student resources and help you get involved on campus to ensure your NCC student experience is one to remember.
You can expect an email from your advisor outlining important information, including how to set up your advising appointment. Before your meeting, please complete the following items:
- Make sure you have submitted your transcripts
- Review placement testing requirements
Guest/visiting students are not assigned a specific advisor and should visit drop-in advising either in person or virtually for assistance.
