Express your style and develop your voice in theatre arts through Northampton Community College’s Associate in Arts (AA) Theatre program. On our Bethlehem campus, you’ll perform, design stages, direct shows and exercise all kinds of production skills in our two on-campus theatres or around the Lehigh Valley. Expert faculty brings diverse experience in acting, directing, design, performance, speech communications, oral interpretation, education and children’s theatre.

FARM! A MUSICAL EXPERIENCE brings a new musical theatre-for-young-audiences production to the Norman R. Roberts Lab Theatre in an intimate production that invites audiences to experience the creation and discovery of a new work.

Start the new year with 10/10: A DIRECTOR'S LAB, an exhilarating evening of short-form theatre that puts the spotlight on the director.
Love can be beautiful. Love can be destructive. And sometimes, you just can't walk away. Sam Shepard's FOOL FOR LOVE comes to the intimate Norman R. Roberts Lab Theatre for a raw, volatile exploration of desire, memory, obsession, and the complicated ties that bind us.
The season concludes with ELECTRICIDAD, Luis Alfaro's powerful reimagining of Sophocles' Electra. Set against the backdrop of a Southern California barrio, Alfaro's contemporary tragedy explores family, grief, memory, revenge, and the complicated bonds between generations.
Northampton Community College Theatre is proud to announce its 2026-2027 Theatre Program Season, featuring five productions that showcase the extraordinary range of live theatre - from the hilarious halls of North Shore High to intimate American drama, original musical theatre, daring new directing, and the vibrant world of Chicanx theatre.
With productions in both the 350-seat Lipkin Theatre and the intimate Norman R. Roberts Lab Theatre, the 2026-2027 season invites audiences to experience theatre in many different forms and scales.
