Tuition Waiver
Full time staff members may attend courses at the College which are offered at times outside their normal working hours (and during working periods of the year for academic year only employees) without the payment of tuition. This benefit applies to all members of the employee's immediate family. Immediate family members shall include the spouse of any such employee and the dependent children as defined by the Internal Revenue Code of the United States.
Educational Assistance Loans
An educational loan program exists to provide material encouragement to staff members to improve their professional competence. Assistance is in the form of a loan which may cover tuition and fees for courses from an accredited college or university. Eligibility and provisions of the plan vary and are based on Administrative Policy and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
