The Guitar Technician Training Program is a fast-paced, full-time, hands-on training experience for anyone looking to turn their passion for guitars into practical, job-ready skills. Running 9 AM–5 PM, Monday through Friday, this 7-week program immerses students in the essential techniques used by professional guitar technicians and luthiers.
Participants will learn how to perform setups and routine maintenance on both acoustic and electric guitars, handle common repairs, and troubleshoot electronic systems including pickups, wiring, and soldering. Training focuses on real instruments and real scenarios, giving students the confidence to work on customer guitars or their own.
The program also includes a leadership and career workshop to help students build professional skills such as communication, problem-solving, and understanding career pathways in the music industry.
